Back injection and back compression molds
Back-injection molding means the insertion of a fabric decoration into a mold, into which the plastic compound is then injected and the finished decor-plastic composite is formed without the use of adhesives. The process is mainly used in the automotive industry for pillars and door panels.
Both pure back injection tools and back injection tools with integrated trimming technology have been developed and built for our customers since 1996.
Thanks to the integrated trimming technology, a subsequent decorative trim process can be completely replaced.
